These figures represent the number of persons enrolled and eligible to receive services in the State of Oklahoma Medicaid program.  The aid group is the category under which the individual qualifies for Medicaid.

CHILD is defined as an individual under the age of twenty one (21).

EXPANSION PROGRAMS - SEPTEMBER 2001

The expansion figures represent the number of the above Medicaid eligibles whose eligibility was made possible by the expanded income standards.  Persons eligible for Medicaid under the expansion programs have income between the standard 150% of Federal poverty level guidelines and the expanded 185% of Federal Poverty level income guidelines.  The Title XXI (Children's Health Insurance Program-CHIP) program is for children under age 18, without another source of insurance coverage.  The Title XIX program is for children under 18 or pregnant women regardless of age that do have other insurance coverage.
