Provider Training
There will also be representatives available at booths at the Oklahoma City and Tulsa conferences for the following providers. Providers do not have to register to visit these booths.
- Behavioral Health: APS, OKDMHSAS and OHCA representatives will be available to discuss the important upcoming changes for Behavioral Health providers.
- Providers submitting Prior Authorizations to the Medical Authorization Unit at OHCA
(e.g. MRI/DME/PT, OT, ST). Representatives will be available to answer questions related to the correct procedures required to submit a prior authorization for approval.

Oklahoma SoonerCare 101
Oklahoma SoonerCare 101 is designed to educate office staff about billing and procedural aspects of Oklahoma SoonerCare. There are two classes in a one session format: Introduction to Oklahoma SoonerCare and the Provider Secure Site. Class curriculum is applicable to all provider types.
These sessions are held in Oklahoma City and Muskogee on the first Thursday every other month.

CMS-1500 Professional Claim Form
OHCA and EDS, an HP Company, have provided a step-by-step PowerPoint guide to submitting the CMS-1500 professional claim form through the OHCA secure Web site. This guide can be used by new providers and provider billing staff. Please remember that this guide is only a tool for training or reviewing the steps that are currently required on the secure site. For detailed and in-depth training on all areas of the SoonerCare secure site, please contact your EDS Field Consultant.
