DME Update Webinar

OHCA and DXC will be presenting a webinar titled Durable Medical Equipment and Supplies Update on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 10:00-11:00 a.m. and again on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 2:00-3:00 p.m. This webinar is for contracted DME providers and will discuss upcoming changes to durable medical equipment and supplies.

Oklahoma SoonerCare 101

Oklahoma SoonerCare 101 is comprised of two classes to assist providers in understanding some of the general SoonerCare policies and how to bill claims to the SoonerCare program through the OHCA Provider Portal. This training is not limited to a specific provider type, yet serves as a general overview of all aspects of the Oklahoma SoonerCare program. These two classes are offered in Oklahoma City and Tulsa:

  1. Introduction to Oklahoma SoonerCare: discusses covered services for adults and children, some additional programs that are supported by OHCA and general policy information designed to educate office staff about billing and procedural aspects of Oklahoma SoonerCare.
  2. SoonerCare Provider Portal – Medicaid on the Web: covers how to log into the portal, how to check member eligibility, the process of claim submission, claim inquiries, prior authorization submission/inquiries and other aspects of the SoonerCare Provider Portal.

Oklahoma SoonerCare Webinar

We will be offering the Introduction to Oklahoma SoonerCare class via webinar for providers unable to attend on-site training in Oklahoma City or Tulsa. The SoonerCare Provider Portal – Medicaid on the Web training is offered on-site only at this time and will not be a part of this webinar. Please register for the date that works best with your schedule:  March 5, July 9, September 3 or December 3 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Focus Forward 

The Focus Forward Oklahoma Program is working to address issues related to access and utilization of long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARC) through policy, education, and communication. Focus Forward Oklahoma continues to provide no-cost LARC training to Oklahoma providers, and we’ll offer training for clinical support staff this spring.
